I am always amazed as I walk around the city at the different fire escapes that hang from apartment buildings. This one in particular caught my eye. I liked the extreme use of the color red and the ladder hanging close to the street at the bottom of the image.

    Today’s shot was taken in the East Village, New York. What I like about this shot is how the stairs lead your eyes along the length of the image, and also the interesting graffiti which is common for the area.
