Allegheny River

Over the Memorial Day weekend we visited the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the first time. We drove out there, as the first road trip we had taken in three years. The weather was excellent… we spent the entire time walking, taking photos, and seeing the sights. This was one of the first photos I took over the weekend, of the Allegheny River, with the city of Pittsburgh in the background.

Great line to lead you through the image, I like the focus as well.

Never been to Pittsburgh, but I think I will like it.

The light on the other side are pretty. I like how you blur the background. I wonder how it will look if you do the opposite way.

    Nice contrast!

Great bokeh in the background and I love the low angle you used for this shot.

Nice shot with an interesting perspective. I’m sure most people (myself included) would focus on the city and getting it sharp. I like this alternative take on a cityscape. Very nice!
