Central Park South and 5th

For such a large and impressive city, Manhattan is surpisingly easy to navigate. A fair portion of the islands roadway is laid out in a grid structure, with streets running horizontally and avenues running vertically. This makes it easy to meet friends, or tell the taxi driver where to head. This HDR image was taken just below Central Park, on the same block as the Plaza Hotel. I like the detail in the signpost and the parallel lines throughout the photo.
