This photo was taken yesterday in midtown Manhattan, during my lunch break. It reminds me of the movie Inception, where the grounds of the city are rolled back and forth like giant rolls of AstroTurf. This is the first photo I have created using Nik Software’s HDR Efex Pro. I have to say that so far I am pretty impressed with this application! You can create localized areas of saturation, contrast and exposure, and the program comes with about 30 presets (including thumbnail previews) for quickly updating your image with. The interface seems intuitive, and very well laid out.
