Making Tracks

This is a photo of a large intersection of train tracks in the Bronx. Something quite impressive about this image is that it all takes place directly above the center of a busy road, and was built over a hundred years ago. The road is Broadway, which many people only know as a famous avenue that runs through the bright lights of Times Square. Broadway actually begins at the bottom of Manhattan and stretches up the island, through Harlem and into the borough of the Bronx, and then heads up and out of New York City. This is a HDR image, merged with Photomatix and edited with Adobe Lightroom.
