Plaza Hotel, NYC

The Plaza Hotel is a luxury hotel situated in Manhattan, New York City. Opened in 1907, it is twenty stories tall and was granted Natural Historic Landmark Status in 1978. The building is surrounded by modern skycrapers in the skyline of Midtown and is just across the road from the southern end of Central Park. The Plaza Hotel has been used as the backdrop in numerous movies and TV shows including: Crocodile Dundee, Scent of a Woman, Home Alone 2, Sleepless in Seattle, The Sopranos and Sex in the City! The Beatles stayed at the Plaza during their first tour of USA back in 1964.
